We were already fans of the Genesis GV80 before the company announced a 2025 update to the vehicle. Our expert test drivers love its engaging driving experience and the way its cabin feels more luxurious than its starting price might lead you to expect.
Then, for 2025, Genesis gave it an interior makeover that combines high-tech (like a 27-inch widescreen display that handles both driver’s instrument and central touchscreen duties ) with elegant design flair and gorgeous quilted upholstery.
The updates had us expecting a price increase. Refreshingly, Genesis hasn’t asked for much of one.
2025 Genesis GV80 Pricing
The base model GV80 keeps it price the same as the 2024 edition. It loses a heated steering wheel and rear window shades to make up for keeping the price flat. But several higher trims keep their prices and don’t appear to lose anything. Other, higher trims see modest price increases.
GV80 2.5T models use a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine making 300 horsepower; 3.5T editions use a 3.5-liter turbo V6 making 375.
All prices include the mandatory $1,350 delivery fee. Genesis say most GV80 trims will be arriving at dealerships in the coming weeks, with select others available this summer.

SUV Coupe Version On The Way
Genesis also introduced a new SUV Coupe body style for the new model year.
That term describes a sportier version of an SUV with a curving roofline. SUV coupes usually sacrifice a bit of space, but gain beauty in the process. The GV80 Coupe fits the bill. Coupe buyers also get a third engine choice not available in the flatter-roof version: a 3.5-liter V6 fitted with both a turbocharger and an electric supercharger that makes 409 horsepower.
Genesis has not yet revealed pricing on the coupe model.
